So, almost a month later, and we're broken up, funny how that works. Seems like yesterday i was jumping up and down and screaming like a little girl behind concession all becuz he asked me for my number. But then tonight, this guy that i always thought was really cute, came to my line at work *like Ryan did* and bought his tickets n all and i gave him and his friend student tickets even tho they didnt have IDs, and he was super cute about it, n then he waved at me when they walked by, n then he came and talked to me while he was waiting for his movie to start cuz i was all alone in the box office, so after i got off work, i went in the break room, where i found post-it notes, and me and Kalli have a joke about me putting my number on post-its and sticking them to people, so it got me thinking, i knew wut movie he was in, and there were only 7 other people in there, so i put my number on a sticky, walked into his theatre, found him, walked up to him and said "im going out on a whim here, and being totally ambitious" and he took the paper and said "what time" and i said "netime" the whole thing, was awesome, even if he doesnt call, a bad day turned into a good night. Ain't no talkin to this man Ain't no pretty other side Ain't no way to understand the stupid words of pride It would take an acrobat, and I already tried all that so I'm gonna let him flyThings can move at such a pace The second hand just waved goodbyeYou know the light has left his face But you can't recall just where or whySo there was really nothing to it I just went and cut right through it I said I'm gonna let him flyThere's no mercy in the live wire No rest at all in freedomOf the choices we are given it's no choice at al lThe proof's in the fire You touch before it moves away But you must always know how long to stay and when to go And there ain't no talkin to this man He's been tryin to tell me so I t took awhile to understand the beauty of just letting go Cause it would take an acrobat, I already tried all that I'm gonna let him fly I'm gonna let him fly |
